Thank to my love, Katie, I was finally able to get a case for my phone.
And, the main reason I got a clear case, was so I could draw my own designs for it, and of course, I opted out for a Once-ler theme.

I just defiled my drawing board.
Now when I draw in class, people across the room are going to have the Once-ler constantly staring back at them.

I started thinking more about the Once-ler’s past, and I wondered what his dad was like. Since, in the movie, his dad wasn’t there, I started to create a back-story for him. I figured that the Once-ler was really close to his dad when he was young, and did a lot of stuff together, like roast marshmallows. But, Once-ler’s daddy was very sick and couldn’t do a whole lot, so this prompted Once-ler to create something something that could make his dad’s life easier, something that could do a thousand things so his father wouldn’t have to exert himself. So, that’s where the idea of the Thneed came from. Sadly, his daddy passed when he was young, but he promised that he would still make the Thneed and sell it to everyone. This pic is dedicated to yisusfishus because she helped me brainstorm and she’s my super awesome buddy.

I tried to draw Once-ler more like how he looked in the movie. Dr. Seuss’s style is pretty fun. I also remember when I used to draw things that weren’t the Once-ler, but that was long ago.

How my friends and I reacted when we saw the “How Bad Can I Be?” number in The Lorax.

I saw The Lorax today with my buds, and it was so cute! I loved how we all pretty much fell in love with the Once-ler when he did the number with the emerald suit. I drew him as soon as I got home, I just had to.
